Board of Directors

Andrew Weinreich, Chairman

Xtify was founded in 2007 by Andrew Weinreich and Jeremy Levy. The company was spun off (and is a distinct entity) from meetMoi, another company founded by Mr. Weinreich. Xtify was developed as a necessary tool to deliver the proximity push alerts necessary for meetMoi’s Mobile service. meetMoi’s investors realized that the Xtify technology would be valuable to many other businesses and financed the separation of the companies and initial finding.

Andrew has spent the past 13 years starting and building businesses. In 1996, Andrew launched the social networking space with sixdegrees.com, which over a period of five years grew to become one of the largest community sites on the World Wide Web. The Company was sold for $125 million in December 2000. In 2001, Andrew founded Joltage, an infrastructure services business devoted to building out a global network of Wi-Fi hotspots. In January 2004, Andrew founded I Stand For, a full service technology solutions provider to political campaigns and non-profit organizations. Prior to founding sixdegrees, he served as Vice President/General Counsel of Hertz Technology Group. Before attending law school, he was a financial analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co. Andrew graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and earned a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law in 1994.
